  1. We need to assume that you wont find the buddha and move on. Your Taonga, the fern leaves still offer up the potential to do quite a lot. There is texture and detail in both subjects. It might be a good idea to get into the drama room and play around with the lighting rig in there. The space and the potential shadow play that is available might be something that could move your work forward. Look up and carefully study Tina Modotti and Freida Kahlo for how they both use their own family/love as their main motivation and also how their work is constructed. There shouldbe more than enough there to soundly get you sorted for another shoot.

  3. Samuel i really like how you've positioned your objects. I like how you've shot your background, you cant see it but you can see, if you know what i mean ? you get my drift? HAHA! I love how the ferns are over lapping each other creating an effect of togetherness. YAAAAY ! im boss :D
